Job Description:

We are looking for a Site Management Discipline Expert (DEx) to drive excellence in HVDC Construction & Commissioning site execution. This senior expert role provides technical leadership, ensures adherence to best practices, and supports projects worldwide with proactive site‑readiness, governance, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject‑matter expert for all Site Management processes, standards, and site governance.
  • Conduct site visits and audits to assess the performance of Site Managers, identify improvement areas, and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support constructability reviews, design reviews, scheduling, tendering, subcontractor evaluations, and customer clarifications from a Site Management perspective.
  • Provide expert support to ongoing projects by solving complex site coordination, logistics, readiness, and execution issues.
  • Contribute to lessons learned, continuous improvement initiatives, and development of training, onboarding materials, and Site Manager competencies.
  • Represent the Site Management discipline in internal and external reviews and cross‑functional forums.
  • Ensure alignment with other C&C disciplines (Installation, Civil, Commissioning, SCM, HSE, PCCM) to secure seamless site execution and strong interface coordination.
  • Develop, improve, and maintain discipline documentation, including site‑management templates, checklists, reporting standards, and execution guidelines.
  • Provide short‑term site coverage in cases of Site Manager absence or delayed mobilization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction site management, preferably HVDC or large EPC environments.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills with proven capability in multi‑contractor, multicultural settings.
  • Deep knowledge of site establishment, logistics, construction sequencing, and site governance.
  • Proactive, credible, and respected professional with strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to travel globally.
