  • Institutional Cash & Trade (ICT) operates as a core component of the Corporate Bank franchise, delivering a comprehensive range of correspondent banking, payments, liquidity, and trade‑related solutions to financial institutions worldwide. Through these capabilities, ICT supports clients in managing complex transaction flows, liquidity structures, and operational requirements across global markets.
  • The ICT Mumbai site serves as a strategically important delivery and expertise hub, underpinning global ICT activities across risk, client solution enablement, product support, and key strategic initiatives. As a critical location within the global operating model, the site contributes to both day‑to‑day business execution and longer‑term capability development. The Site Head role is a senior run‑the‑bank leadership position, accountable for ensuring operational stability, strong people leadership, and effective site‑level governance, while maintaining close alignment and connectivity with global and regional ICT leadership to ensure consistent execution against enterprise priorities.

Role Description

  • As Site Head – ICT Mumbai, you are accountable for the overall leadership of the local ICT organization, encompassing people management, delivery oversight, operational governance, and the effective implementation of risk and control standards. You serve as the senior representative for the Mumbai site, ensuring consistent and disciplined execution in line with global ICT priorities and standards.
  • The role carries a light functional remit, with functional ownership retained by the respective global pillar leadership teams.

Your key responsibilities

ICT Strategy

  • Provide strategic analysis, insight development, and execution support for ICT‑wide initiatives and priorities.
  • Ensure teams deliver structured, timely and decision‑relevant outputs, aligned with global ICT strategy and leadership expectations.

Site Leadership & Governance

  • Lead the ICT Mumbai team and act as the single point of accountability for site‑level delivery, governance and escalation.
  • Ensure alignment with global ICT priorities through clear execution discipline, prioritization and performance oversight.

People Leadership

  • Lead, develop and mentor managers and team leads across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure appropriate capacity, skills and succession coverage, while fostering a strong performance and inclusion culture.

Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure stable, high‑quality and timely delivery across the site.
  • Oversee capacity planning, workload management and management reporting.
  • Support process improvements and change while safeguarding day‑to‑day operational stability.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the key interface between Mumbai teams and global / regional stakeholders, including Product, Client Solutions, Strategy, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance and AFC.
  • Represent the site in relevant ICT governance and leadership forums.

Risk & Control

  • Embed a strong risk and control culture across the site.
  • Ensure timely identification, escalation and remediation of issues and risks.

Pillar Coverage (High‑Level)

The Site Head provides local leadership, people management and execution oversight for teams supporting the following ICT pillars; functional ownership remains with global pillar leadership:

ECO

  • Covers execution‑focused activities supporting the ICT business, including structured delivery, coordination across stakeholders, and adherence to agreed governance and priorities.
  • The Site Head ensures disciplined execution, clear ownership, capacity stability and timely escalation across ECO teams in Mumbai.

Product Management & Client Solutions

  • Covers support for ICT product initiatives and client solution activities, including coordination with Product, Sales and other stakeholders, and delivery of high‑quality outputs aligned to global standards.
  • The Site Head ensures effective local execution, strong stakeholder connectivity and consistent delivery quality across teams.

  • Lead through clear priorities, strong governance and consistent execution.
  • Balance empowerment with appropriate oversight and escalation.
  • Build strong partnerships across functions and geographies.

Your skills and experience

Skills You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in either Product Management or Sales Analytics within a banking or financial services context.
  • Senior leadership experience managing larger teams in a global financial services environment.
  • Strong background in site leadership, operational management and delivery governance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of banking environments and risk & control expectations.
