Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Site Engineer – Saudi National (MEP) to join our team!
In this role, you will support Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering activities on site, ensuring that construction works are executed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and engineering best practices.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform daily site inspections related to MEP works and ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.
- Review drawings, material submittals, and shop drawings for MEP installations.
- Monitor contractor MEP work progress and quality, raising issues where necessary.
- Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with internal engineering disciplines and external stakeholders such as contractors, clients, and suppliers.
- Provide guidance to CAD Designers/Drafters and junior engineers working on the project.
- Assist with technical bid evaluations and review vendor documentation.
- Support the preparation of specifications, data sheets, and requisitions for MEP materials and equipment.
- Ensure timely resolution of MEP-related technical issues on site.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support successful project delivery.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in MEP engineering or site supervision.
- Engineering-in-Training (EIT) Certificate preferred.
- Working knowledge of CAD and other engineering software tools.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Strong understanding of MEP construction processes and standards.
- Experience reviewing shop drawings and material submittals.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments.
