The Associate Director Investigator Engagement leads a team within Canada and collaborates with business partners to ensure clinical trials and studies across all therapeutic areas are executed according to scientific objectives, country-specific clinical trial strategies, timelines, budgets, and local requirements. This role is also responsible for recruiting, training, and developing the team that manages investigators, including delivering performance metrics and key indicators.
This role is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as participation in the Lilly Bonus Program and car allowance.

Lead and manage the Investigator Engagement Team within Canada.
Oversee clinical trial execution, including investigator qualification, enrollment, and database lock delivery.
Ensure high-quality interactions with clinical trial sites and vendors.
Provide vendor oversight for delegated site monitoring activities within the country; facilitate routine performance-focused discussions and ensure quality milestone delivery.
Understand local treatment pathways to support targeted feasibility as required.
Collaborate with business partners to achieve scientific and operational objectives.
Engage externally with relevant organizations to understand the Canadian clinical trial regulatory environment and ensure internal processes comply with country requirements.
Maintain compliance with country-specific clinical trial regulations.
Drive issue resolution and foster continuous improvement.
Manage team recruitment, training, development, and performance.
Foster a culture of inclusion, innovation, and high performance.
Effectively manage and coordinate an agile organization that adapts to a changing portfolio.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific or health-related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical trials or clinical development.
Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and Canadian regulatory guidelines.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence, achieve results through others, and lead across the business.
Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
Experience working with cross-cultural and virtual teams.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English.
Willingness to travel (35–50%).
French language skills are an asset.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$113,250 - $166,100Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
