As a Site Account Representative II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll be a key member of our Unity Lab Services (ULS) team, providing on-site asset management and comprehensive laboratory operational support for key customer accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and Thermo Fisher Scientific, ensuring seamless service delivery while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, manage laboratory assets and chemical inventory, ensure compliance with EHS regulations, coordinate cross-functional service activities, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You will also support and drive operational projects to enhance efficiency, safety, and compliance, directly contributing to our customers’ ability to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Agriculture, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical, Healthcare, or related scientific field
• Proven experience in large-scale R&D laboratory operations management
• Strong knowledge of laboratory-related EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations and compliance requirements
• Advanced expertise in chemical management, including chemical inventory control, storage compliance, SDS management, and hazardous materials handling
• Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and drive operational improvements
• Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and related laboratory data management systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent customer service skills with proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Fluent to near-native level English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with engineers, suppliers, and internal partners
