Collins Aerospace is seeking a SIOP Specialist to support the ongoing evolution of our Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) and Materials Planning processes. In this role, you will help drive end-to-end visibility of demand, capacity, and supply to ensure operational excellence across our business. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented supply chain professional who enjoys solving complex problems, optimizing processes, and partnering across functions to deliver results.

This is a key position for a results-driven, detail-oriented professional who excels at leading change, improving processes, and elevating SIOP maturity across the organization.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in the development of strategies and standardized processes for Materials Planning and SIOP to optimize resources and meet customer delivery expectations.

  • Support the creation of indicators and analytics that provide visibility into short- and long-term market trends and demand signals.

  • Identify and define appropriate demand streams, supporting data relationships and forecasting alignment.

  • Assist with developing demand forecasts in collaboration with Product Development, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.

  • Support monthly production volume planning using business forecasts, inventory positions, customer orders, and plant capacity parameters.

  • Facilitate capacity management processes, identifying and escalating long-term capacity gaps to ensure alignment with customer demand.

  • Execute continuous management of the master demand schedule, ensuring required validations and delivering long-range OE and aftermarket demand visibility for financial planning and capacity management.

  • Create and execute the plan-for-every-part (PFEP) and maintain accurate master data for purchased parts, subassemblies, and end items.

  • Monitor transportation and delivery of inter/intra-plant materials and outbound finished goods.

  • Track and manage WIP, promise dating, expedite orders, and resolve aged or at-risk items to support on-time delivery.

  • Perform escalated expediting and risk mitigation to resolve short-term shortages with internal suppliers.

  • Participate in evaluating and implementing new technologies, tools, and process improvements to advance SIOP and Materials Planning capabilities.

  • Support development of supply-related processes and plans to enhance overall supply chain performance.

  • Track and report key SIOP and Materials Planning metrics, driving continuous improvement and operational discipline.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Program Management, Business Analysis, or related fields.

  • Demonstrated experience in SIOP, demand planning, supply planning, or inventory management.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive action-oriented insights.

  • Proficiency with planning tools, ERP/MRP systems, and Excel-based analysis.

  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or high-mix/low-volume production environments.

  • Knowledge of RTX CORE Operating System or other lean/continuous improvement methodologies.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
