Dow has an opportunity for a Silicones Regional Channel Manager located in Mexico City - MEX.
The Silicones Regional Channel Manager role will be focused on managing sales of Dow’s specialty silicones to territories in both Mexico and parts of the United States. The person will be responsible for engaging in direct business with customers, understanding their needs, and selling silicones to them. They will work primarily with our channel partners / distributors within the region but are also responsible for direct sales and engagement with end users of our products. The markets primarily served will be Consumer, Electronics, Mobility and Transportation. They will be responsible for understanding our product lines, services, capabilities, and while working with our technical team, finding silicone solutions to our end customers.
The individual will be responsible for revenue growth and customer experience for medium to large-sized customers, including new business development, time and territory management, sales tools and analytics utilization, product knowledge and relationship management. The role will be aligned geographically, by markets and product portfolio within a business and involves a high degree of collaboration, communication and cooperation.
Responsibilities:
Manages account portfolio and prepares and implements sales plans.
Leads and coordinates customer relationships working to understand customer needs and identify potential new clients.
Input information in CRM and SmartPrice providing the required documentation aligned to the Dow sales processes.
Manages Sales Contracts following Dow guidelines and legal requirements according to each region and country.
Develops and executes sales and marketing plans delivering business goals of volume and value.
Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales/marketing plan.
Leads and conducts negotiations and implements price changes and strategies.
Collaborates with other functions and stakeholders to deliver CX results.
Expectations:
Travel with distribution sellers and meet customers F2F - 50% of the time
Accountable for Regional Sales Plan (measured through Point of Sale (POS))
Manage Regional Channel Opportunity Portfolio
Provide Channel TGO support and lead identification
Prioritize portfolio and drive for TGO closures
Maintain CRM accuracy for Regional Opportunities and Contacts
Ensure Channel TGOs are updated every 6 months or marked Inactive
Provide support to Protect and Grow Regional Channel Momentum Business
Identify most relevant/key customers and support to maintain incumbency, mitigate conflict and grow market share
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree,
Fluency in English
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum five years’ experience in technical/sales/commercial related positions.
