We are now looking for a Silicon Validation Engineer (RDSS Intern) to join IST (In System Test) team. NVIDIA’s silicon validation engineers are responsible for designing NVIDIA’s GPUs, SoCs into cutting edge desktop, notebook, professional, and mobile solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance optimization.
What you’ll be doing:
Participate in silicon bring-up & validation of new silicon with the objective of driving product to mass production.
Plan, develop and execute testing to validate IST on the NVIDIA GPU/SoC silicones.
Validate chip diagnostic software and tools to perform characterization to ensure product quality to meet product defined specs.
Design or commission tools on evaluation platforms to automate and optimize characterization, data collection, test case execution, and results analysis.
Find innovative solutions to complex silicon and system level problems in order to enable product shipment.
Work closely with different teams to debug IST-related issues and define IST characteristic specs to provide best coverage for permanent and latent faults in SLT, BLT and in-field product testing.
Gain knowledge, experience, and best practices in validating a state-of-the-art GPU/SoC.
What we need to see:
Masters degree in EE, CE, CS Engineering.
Good knowledge of semiconductor test flows and device characteristics.
Detail oriented, reliable, Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
Experience with scripting languages in one or more of Python, JavaScript.
Experienced with lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
Good communication skills in English.
