Job Summary:

The Shopper Marketing Manager plays a key role within the Growth Organization as part of the Shopper Marketing team. This position supports multiple brands, retailers, and reports to a Sr Shopper Marketing Manager. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing shopper marketing strategies across designated retail accounts, supporting brand launches, and driving growth through insight-led programs. Manages projects, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration, partners with analytics to translate insights into action, and influences internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely, effective, and ROI-driven results.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of shopper marketing strategies for Tyson’s portfolio of brands across designated retail accounts.
  • Partner with the Sr Shopper Marketing Manager to deliver shopper marketing plans for strategic retailers.
  • Develop executional tactics aligned with brand, category, and customer strategies to deliver mutually beneficial programs.
  • Assist in creating and executing launch plans at key grocery retailers to drive awareness, household penetration, trial, and repeat purchase.
  • Manage shopper marketing projects, budgets, and communications, coordinating closely with brand, shopper marketing, and sales planning teams.
  • Ensure all programs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Effectively present and influence recommendations with retail partners and internal stakeholders, including Sales, Brand, and Sales Planning teams.
  • Apply fact-based shopper insights and qualitative data to develop customer strategies that drive sustainable growth.
  • Develop and align plans across Sales, Brand, and Customer priorities.
  • Influence cross-functional teams at the manager and director+ levels throughout planning, budgeting, and program development.
  • Partner with Analytics & Insights team to translate insights into actionable solutions.
  • Conduct strategic business analyses, identify key drivers, define KPIs, and manage budgets to optimize ROI.

Agency Management:

  • Lead agency partners through the full project lifecycle, from briefing to creative development and execution.
  • Develop clear agency briefs and serve as the voice of both the customer and the brand.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond effectively to fast-paced, customer-driven requests.
  • Demonstrate strong project management, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Education:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related business field preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in marketing, sales, market research, or agency roles within the food or consumer packaged goods industry.
  • At least 1 year of shopper marketing experience preferred

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex analytical tools and budget management.
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Experience using syndicated data sources such as Nielsen, IRI, or Spectra.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across sales, agency, brand, and retail execution teams

Travel:

  • Limited travel required, with occasional trips throughout the year
