Shop Foreman
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm, Fri 1/2 days as needed
Business is thriving and that means we're hiring! We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Shop Foreman to join our winning team, and that's where you come in!
The Shop Forman manages the activities of all shop related staff ensuring exceptional customer service. This individual is an essential partner of the hiring, training, and development of all shop personnel. The Shop Foreman serves as the liaison between the production floor and sales team, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the team to help complete projects for or guest when needed.
- Responsible for quality inspections of guest projects to ensure we deliver on our statements of work.
- Partner with Sales staff for guest drop off appointments and pick up appointments.
- Partner with supply chain to keep parts on hand for jobs and ensure consumables stay above minimums.
- Ensure that the guests check in and check out processes are completed for every guest that leaves our facility
- Forklift trained to help move and stage trailers in the shop working areas.
- Works with dealership detailing department to schedule detailing of guest projects before delivery dates.
- Partner in Shop Staff Recruiting, Training and Development.
- Develop staff by setting and communicating performance/production expectations, monitoring performance, identifying development needs, coaching, and mentoring.
- Customer Engagement
- Resolve customer requests, questions, and concerns in a professional, friendly, and prompt manner.
- Inspect project estimates daily for, accuracy and quality of finished products.
- Ensure that all manufacturer policies and procedures are followed.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of all shop areas in accordance with state and federal OSHA laws to ensure a professional, safe environment for customers and team members.
- Open and close the shop, and assigned keys and codes to building
- Hold daily staff stand-up meetings delivering daily key information for production direction.
- Other administrative duties as required
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous Experience as a Lead/Foreman/Manager in any of the following areas is highly desired: RV Service / Van Manufacturing / Boat Building / Cabinet Shop
- Cabinet shop management experience is a plus
- CDK & Microsoft office products experience is a plus
