A Day in the Life:

  • Separate and coordinate drafting bills of materials for shop manufacture & purchase

  • Create PO’s for approved shop purchases and process invoices for review

  • Obtain packing lists and receipt purchases into Dynamics

  • Reconcile invoices against purchase orders and forward to Corporate for payment

  • Maintain organized purchase flow with copies of all correspondences: Quotes, Bom’s, PO’s packing lists, invoices

  • Complete quarterly inventory counts and complete new found inventory as needed

  • Maintain inventory stores “cage”, keep organized and orderly

  • Create supplier request for quotations

  • Provide copies of material packing lists to Shop Manager

  • Create and submit New Vendor request forms to Accounts Payable

  • Order stock requisitions through X-Cart online “Flynn Store”

  • Order and receipt into Dynamics, replenishment stock for the AGS “Flynn Store”

  • Process stock levels and adjust minimum/maximum order levels for stores

  • Tool assignment and tracking for small tools and consumables. Assist in Mobilizing and demobilizing jobs

  • Coordinating closely with US Fleet Manager and HR

  • Assist in general fleet management. Coordinating fleet maintenance schedules, driver requests and qualifications, maintaining vehicle maintenance paperwork and Geotab system.

  • Miscellaneous shop duties as assigned

What we are Seeking:

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in a purchasing role, preferably in the construction and/or manufacturing industry

  • Strong analytical thinking, planning and negotiation skills are required

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS office package

  • Clean driving record.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be a team player
