Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Shipside Operations Specialists (Level 4) to join the Line Side Control Center (LSCC) Team in Everett, WA.

The successful candidate will use technical knowledge, will be understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization. The Team Lead will conduct assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.

 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and oversee shipside manufacturing operational issues using SAT and other tools to document, communicate, and track resolution

  • Leverage technical expertise, process knowledge, and stakeholder relationships to ensure timely resolution by responsible support organizations

  • Collect and consolidate information on known issues, coordinating follow-up and tracking progress to closure

  • Apply process management and continuous improvement techniques to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for recurring problems

  • Facilitate cross-functional work teams, deliver targeted training, and support problem-solving and process improvements

  • Assess processes and practices against applicable standards and criteria, identifying gaps and opportunities

  • Champion Boeing and BCA enterprise standards, modeling our values, behaviors, and BPS

  • Plan and facilitate multi functional meetings required to resolve issues (Tier meetings, root cause sessions, BPSM, workshops, etc.)

  • Monitor and maintain BPS KPIs relevant to lineside support, driving performance visibility and improvement

  • Analyze and interpret operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for action

  • Provide clear, actionable feedback based on assessment findings

  • Partner with organizations to identify recurring and high impact issues and prioritize mitigation efforts

  • Support root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans to address systemic problems

  • Manage ongoing coordination and tracking of open items to ensure timely completion

  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members, providing guidance on technical and process topics

  • Support the organization’s operational rhythm, complete daily/weekly/monthly standard work and align activities to annual objectives

  • Operates with general direction, escalating issues and decisions as appropriate

 Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Proficient in REDARS, Velocity, SAT and BAC specifications

  • 3+ years of experience with operations analysis

  • 3+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action

  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a supportive LSCC role

  • 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
