The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator oversees daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics activities to ensure timely and accurate customer orders. This role coordinates order processing, documentation, and inventory transactions using transportation management systems and Microsoft D365, including domestic and international shipments. The senior coordinator partners closely with warehouse, quality, and production teams to resolve discrepancies, manage returns, and maintain inventory accuracy, while driving efficiency and continuous improvement in a fast-paced operations environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generating bills of lading inside Mercury gate
  • Packing out customer orders/transfer orders
  • Making production parts within Microsoft D365 software
  • Transferring parts between sub-warehouses and service centers
  • Receiving purchase orders and transfer orders, noting any discrepancies between Microsoft D365 and packing slips
  • Ship international and generate export documents
  • Data entry
  • Receiving using CEK
  • Processing returns once checked in by quality department
  • Booking dedicated trucks with corporate logistics
  • Processing transfer paperwork to the floor
  • Manage pickup of scrap material and waste management

Experience and Skill Required

  • 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment with assignments in lean processes using continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Must be organized, able to multi-task, and drives results 
  • Ability to manage reporting from multiple locations
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Preferred knowledge in Microsoft D365
  • Preferred knowledge in Tableau reporting
  • Proficient in time and project management
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
