WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
  • Pick order, pack, receive, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
  • Ensure proper routing of materials is maintained while transporting the materials between departments.
  • Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records.
  • Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on stock transfer, inventory levels or delivery schedules).
  • Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization’s established procedures.
  • These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records, and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.
  • Timely processing of receipts and shipments, including international and DG.
  • International and DG shipping training and certification provided.
  • Cross functional communication with Regulatory, Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning, and others as required.
  • Follow provided control procedures to complete tasks.
  • Complete Warehousing & Inventory execution tasks if applicable.
  • Perform Material Movements both physically and systematically.
  • Generate Work Orders from an ERP system.
  • Perform Work Order Receipts in ERP system.
  • Perform cycle counting.
  • Process stock transfers and material requests.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including potential use of forklifts or other equipment with appropriate training and/or certification.
  • Load and/or unload trucks as required.
  • Support all initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

2nd shift, Mon-Fri 3p-11:30p

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Warehouse database knowledge
  • Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 2+ years experience in a related field of work
  • General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and SAP

The base pay for this position is

$15.80 – $31.60/hour
