Hiring Manager to use principal responsibilities from above job profile job description to fill out bullet points below. Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards and shipping guidelines.
• Generate shipping labels, documentation, and manifests using shipping software or systems.
• Ensure accuracy of shipment contents, quantities, and destinations.
• Verify shipping documents and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Receive incoming shipments, inspecting for damages and discrepancies.
• Unload and sort incoming materials or products, ensuring proper storage or distribution.
• Record receiving data, including quantities received, condition of items, and any deviations from expected deliveries.
• Organize received items in designated storage locations, ensuring efficient inventory management.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points, coordinating with purchasing to replenish stock as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory items to prevent damage or loss.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as hazardous materials handling and transportation regulations.
• Collaborate with other warehouse personnel, including supervisors, forklift operators, and inventory clerks, to fulfill orders and meet shipping deadlines.
• Provide guidance and training to junior shippers/receivers as needed.
• Identify and resolve shipping, receiving, or inventory discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to address any challenges or concerns.
Required Skills:
