The anticpated pay rate is up to $32.55. Will depend on experience.
Job Summary
Key areas of responsibility will include the day-to-day support of the production assets(machines) through interaction, influence and leadership of the production teams, the facilitation of meetings, identifying and troubleshooting machine issues and the reporting of business results. Additional responsibilities may include trial work and support, centerlining, development of Best Practices and Continuous Improvement activities.
Core Responsibilities
Communicate effectively across organization.
Provide applied or practical leadership direction to designated manufacturing area.
Works with team to meet or exceed business needs.
Ensure safety procedures and practices are followed (especially in upset conditions).
Ensure a work environment that is organized and free of clutter (Good Housekeeping).
Ensure Compliance and Quality standards are being upheld.
Facilitates troubleshooting efforts to improve current process issues.
Extension of management to promote a safe, efficient work environment.
Conduct shift-to-shift meeting with outgoing point person from previous shift.
Provide game plan for the shift, including making job assignments to make sure all assets are adequately staffed.
Prioritize business decisions as situations arise on shift.
Review/analyze shift production numbers and communicate trends to management.
Mentor team members.
Provide daily documentation on issues that occur during shift.
Be available on unscheduled days for the business.
Partner with leaders on reviews.
Ensure monthly BBSs are completed.
Developer of People
Qualifying Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Post-secondary education (college courses and/or technical certificate) preferred.
Two or more years of relevant experience or equivalent post high school vocational training or equivalent military experience.

Ability to adequately troubleshoot and resolve process/equipment problems and implement countermeasures.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others through personal example and work ethic Effective change agent.

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Have knowledge of regulatory requirements. Microsoft Office Suite.
