Core Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of a designated shift in the Slots department. Supports, administers, and manages operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objective.
Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
Witness all major jackpot wins, sign jackpot checks, and provides authorizing/verifying signature for jackpot payments, when applicable, in accordance with established procedures.
Communicate with customers to answer questions and resolve disputes. Implement all Casino procedures relating to slot operations and monitor areas for cleanliness.
Provides feedback on procedures for efficiencies.
Reviews internal controls relative to movement of sensitive materials on the slot floor.
Communicates long term goals and direction to Slot department.
Supervises, coaches, counsels, disciplines Team Members.
Responsible for scheduling.
Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager regarding any concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
Performs other job duties as requested.
Qualifications:
Minimum age requirement is 21.
Minimum 1-year experience in a Slot Supervisory position preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience within a hotel/gaming property is preferred.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to coach, develop, counsel and discipline subordinates.
Knowledge of slot equipment. Excellent computer and organizational skills.
Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming license
Physical Demands:
Work is performed in casino indoor setting.
Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
May be exposed to smoke
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.
Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
Eye/hand coordination.
Use of standard office equipment.
Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
