Job Summary: The Sheet Metal Shop Operator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and preparing sheet metal components according to project specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards while working with various tools and machinery in a fast-paced shop environment.

What We Are Seeking
• 5 years of previous experience in sheet metal fabrication. A must!
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Successful completion of a physical assessment prior to employment.
• Select and operate appropriate hand and power tools to complete fabrication tasks.
• Perform basic material handling to prevent damage to finished products.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset and comply with all shop safety protocols for tools and equipment.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings for accurate labeling and crating of materials for shipment to job sites.
• Operate sheet metal break/folder/shear machinery and other specialized equipment as required.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Familiarity with Schectl machine operation and basic shop equipment.
