Job Title: SHE Specialist
Location: Minburi Factory
Reports to: Site SHE Manager
Purpose of the Role
Lead and support the implementation of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards across the site, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements. The role focuses on technical safety, machinery safety, Process Safety Management (PSM), and chemical safety, with strong emphasis on communication and documentation in English.
Key Responsibilities:
Machinery Safety
- Ensure compliance with machinery safety standards, including EN ISO 13849-2.
- Support safe design, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
- Lead hazard identification and risk assessments for equipment and processes.
Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Implement and monitor PSM programs, including Safety Critical Elements (SCEs), containment systems, and emergency response plans.
- Conduct Management of Change (MoC) reviews for hardware, systems, and organizational changes.
Chemical Safety
- Oversee safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external chemical safety regulations.
Compliance & Governance
- Maintain site compliance with UL SHE standards, SHEPAR, DCC, and local regulations.
- Support audits and gap assessments, and lead corrective actions.
Training & Communication
- Deliver SHE training and awareness programs to all employees.
- Lead SHE communication campaigns and ensure documentation is clear and accessible in English. (e.g., Safety Onboarding | PowerPoint)
Incident Management
- Lead incident investigations and verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Report SHE performance in global systems and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SHE roles, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong technical knowledge in machinery safety, PSM, and chemical management.
- Proven experience with Management of Change (MoC) processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams.
