The SHE Manager - Australia leads the development and execution of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) strategies across the organization. This role manages a team of SHE specialists, drives compliance with regulatory standards, and champions sustainability and wellbeing initiatives. Acting as a key influencer, this role partners with senior leaders and external stakeholders to embed SHE excellence into business operations and culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Manage team members and coordinate their activities to ensure effective delivery of SHE programs.
Guide and coach leaders on integrating safety leadership into business priorities and decision-making.
Act as a role model for safety and compliance, setting high standards for operational practices.
Ensure the organization meets all health and safety regulations and standards, including local, state, and federal requirements.
Lead sustainability initiatives and ensure their integration into business operations.
Monitor and report on SHE performance metrics, including incident trends, audit results, and sustainability KPIs.
Regular travel out to sites nationally to engage and partner closely with the business.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, environmental science, engineering, or related discipline (required).
7+ years of progressive experience in SHE roles, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
Proven track record in managing compliance programs, audits, and risk management in complex operational environments.
Demonstrated success in leading sustainability initiatives and wellbeing strategies.
Experience in coaching senior leaders and influencing organizational safety culture.
