Job Summary: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Defense Sexual Assault Program Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: About the Position: Incumbent is responsible for assisting the Army Commands, Army Service Component Command, or Direct Reporting Unit SHARP Program (PM) with execution and executive oversight of SHARP programs across the enterprise.

Major Duties:

  • Recommend necessary corrective action of program changes and for continuing evaluation.
  • Conduct business process reviews with the intent to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the program and minimize adverse impact of management practices on command productivity.
  • Assist the SHARP PM in planning, developing, and monitoring the command’s input to Congressional, DoD and Army reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the development of SHARP briefs to leadership on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to the IG and to Inspectors General from other commands as appropriate.
  • Gather and analyzes data and recommend improvements in data gathering/ analysis related to sexual harassment and sexual assault.

Specialized experience One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) analyzing sexual harassment and assault trends to identify systemic issues in command policy, practices, and procedures; 2) assisting with developing criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of SHARP programs; AND 3) planning the execution of external inspections, investigations or inquiries conducted at higher echelons.
