As a Settlement/Reconciliation Agent, you will play a critical role in the financial integrity of our credit card operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reconciliation of financial transactions across multiple platforms, including internal systems, payment processors, and banking partners. You will be at the heart of our transaction lifecycle, ensuring that every dollar is accounted for and that discrepancies are identified and resolved swiftly. Your work will involve daily monitoring of settlement files, matching transaction data, and investigating variances that may arise due to timing differences, system errors, or operational issues. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Risk, IT, and Customer Support to ensure seamless transaction flow and resolution of issues. This role requires a high level of precision, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. In addition to operational responsibilities, you will contribute to process improvement initiatives, help implement automation tools, and support compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. Help carry out the unit’s settlement processes such as reconciling accounts, balancing payments, investigating discrepancies and resolving outages. More specifically, you will be required to:
Help analyze and produce reports and statistics by working with large payment files
Carry out administrative tasks including data collection, entry, modification, compilation and reclassification
Coordinate the unit’s daily activities
Provide information about your line of business’ processes and procedures
Help prepare presentations and related documents
Liaise with other business units to streamline processes

What you bring to the table
College diploma in a related field
A minimum of one year of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Proficiency in Oracle accounting program
Knowledge of accounting principles/practices
Expertise in MS Office, specifically Excel
