THE ROLE

Applications are invited for Casual Teaching and Marking Staff in first-year undergraduate units within the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences for Session 2 and Session 3, 2026.

Casual Teaching Academic’s will deliver tutorial classes and/or mark assessment tasks across a range of units. Tutors are generally expected to be familiar with the unit content and ideally take a minimum of four classes per week. Tutors are expected to mark their allocated classes.

We are seeking applicants for the following Units:

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Honours or postgraduate qualification, or current enrolment in a relevant higher degree
  • Sufficient discipline-specific knowledge
  • An understanding and appreciation of scholarly teaching
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with students, staff and the community
