Job Description:

An opportunity for a A400M Services PMO Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).


The selected candidate will join the Commodity manager area.

RESPONSABILITIES

The Services S&OP Driver and A400M Services PMO Manager supports the Services PMO Team Leader and TAS organization to ensure the operational execution of the IBP, OP and S&OP processes as well as the baseline (budget, time and scope) across Services business.
Among other activities and deliverables, the Services S&OP Driver:

  • Drives the S&OP process at TAS level. This means leading the yearly Demand Reviews, convergence meetings with the inputs of the CoC’s and functions, for approval by Programmes and Finance, and calling the Executive Meeting review
  • Works closely with the Airpower S&OP Driver to ensure the successful achievement of the yearly S&OP process contributing with the TAS part
  • Prepares baseline & update scenario, identifies impacts of programme new/ additional requirements, assumptions change or major events – to support decision at programme level
  • Is responsible to maintain the TAS Baseline Data Base (BLDB) that is the baseline (budget, planning, scope) master file for all budget, internal and external headcount, legal entities, etc for the following 5 years.

In addition the Services PMO Manager will be part of the A400M Services PMO organization (TAXSA) that ensures the A400M Services (TASA) business in close conjunction with relevant functions (such as Finance, Engineering, ERM, Operations, Quality) and CoC’s (such as TAST, TASM, TASS, TASD, TASR) delivers on:

  • (Integrated) Planning & Scheduling including breakdown structures, performance monitoring (milestones tracking), control and reporting, phase reviews. 
  • Risk & Opportunity Management 
  • Requirements Management 
  • Project Configuration Management (Contractual Baseline) including Baseline Change Management (only for Upgrades programs)
  • Documentation and Data Management. Reporting
  • Financial Project Management
  • Integration and analysis of time, cost, resources and quality data

To perform his/her reponsabilities, the Services S&OP Driver and PMO Manager:

  • defines and contributes to achieve operational PM and PMO efficiencies via Processes, Methods and Tools tailored for the Services business
  • is responsible for implement Project Management standards to perform PMO tasks and for the related preparation of data
  • provides quantitative and qualitative data to support discussions and decision-making at TASA level
  • prepares reports for the customer and other stakeholders when required
  • Ensures a close liaison with the Air Power Cross Programme Management Team, ensuring application of PM standards, methods & tools as well as development of PM people (skills, competencies, certification, etc.), including the required tailoring where and when applicable
  • Supports the overall Services PM activities (cross programmes and across CoC's)
  • Ensures a close liaison and coordination with Services Excellence in regard to SUPPORT DOMAIN, customer centricity, sustainability…
  • Consolidates and manages the KPIs per programme/ programme units, performing root causes analysis in case of deviations

SKILLS:

  • University degree (Business Administration and/or Engineering Degree)
  • Working experience in Programme and Project Management
  • Strong experience in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Project Management Processes Methods and Tools
  • Stakeholder Management skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. German is a plus
  • PMP certification or Airbus PM certification is a plus
  • Experience in Finance will be a plus
