Job Summary
• This role is responsible for supervising customer projects of substantial size, complexity, very high risks and spanning across multiple regions. The role manages complex client relationships, oversees large project teams of more than 40 individuals, and collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure project success. The role also sets and monitors key performance indicators and provides mentorship to lower-level employees to achieve operational and strategic goals.

Responsibilities
• Supervises the delivery of large and complex customer projects, spanning multiple regions or even global in scale, and characterized by high to very high risks and intricate legal and commercial considerations.
• Manages project financials like profit and loss (P&L), consistently meeting or surpassing SOAR approved budgets, and delivering dependable financial forecasts to the management.
• Leads business development efforts by identifying and cultivating new opportunities with clients as well as supporting early qualification and assessment of large and complex opportunities, serving as the opportunity manager for high-risk deals.
• Manages client relationships involving complex multi-function and/or global delivery relationships with senior and executive client management, effectively communicating value creation to business partners and customers.
• Heads the project team, overseeing both internal and external resources with a team size greater than 40 individuals, fostering skill development among team members.
• Manages corporate, customer, and third-party vendor efforts to plan, sell, and implement solutions to customer problems.
• Ensures proper key performance indicators are set, measured, and regularly reports on status against program objectives.
• Leads customer engagement to meet scope, time, budget, and quality expectations.
• Contributes innovative ideas and may lead large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in project management, HP Services business units, HP global projects, or a related field.
