Job Summary:

The ServiceNow Product Manager, ITOM/CMDB (with HAM/SAM focus) owns the strategy, roadmap, and value realization of the ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and IT Asset Management ecosystem. This role is accountable for ensuring high-quality, trusted CMDB data that enables enterprise ITAM capabilities, including software and hardware lifecycle management.

The role partners across business and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into product capabilities, prioritizes investments based on value, and ensures delivery of measurable outcomes aligned to enterprise goals.

Job Description:

  • Develops (ITOM/CMDB) roadmap for Service Now based on input from internal stakeholders, business, market research and their own industry insight.
  • Establish CI data ownership, governance, and certification models.
  • Drive integration of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping with SAM/HAM.
  • Enable license optimization, asset lifecycle management, and compliance.
  • Works closely with stakeholders, developers, and teams to prioritize and deliver timely product features.
  • Leads Product Teams. Oversee the allocation of product team resources within approved funding to the most valuable initiatives.
  • Track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product.
  • Works closely with Development/Engineering and other teams to deliver products that align with  vision, meets business needs and are delivered to a consistently high-quality standard.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and bottlenecks, and develop mitigation strategies and backup plans. 
  • Accountable for product-level value delivery, ensuring funded initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes aligned to the approved roadmap.  
  • Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to various audiences to gain buy-in and align stakeholders. 

Additional Job Description:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field. (Bachelor's in Computer Science, Business, Project Management, Business/Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Education, Information Systems, Technical, MBA).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping) and 3+ years specifically with SAM /HAM.
  • Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping) and ITAM (SAM/HAM). 
  • Strong understanding of CSDM and CMDB data models.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills to guide and influence cross - functional teams.
  • Proficient in Agile frameworks and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Be the recognized expert in the business on the product and relevant technology.
  • Strong relationship management skills to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Data and outcome driven mindset.
  • Customer- Centric thinking: Deep understanding of customer needs and how to create value.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders and expectations.
  • A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, and project management.

Pay Range:

$136,200.00 - $204,200.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
