Job Purpose:

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and enhancing the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise business processes.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Development & Configuration

  • Design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications, including forms, UI actions, scripts, and flows.

  • Create custom applications, record producers, workflows, and integrations.

  • Enhance and support modules such as ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, Asset, ITOM, and ITAM.
     

Integrations & API Development

  • Build and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, OAuth, and Basic Auth.

  • Ensure secure and reliable data exchange with external systems.
     

Platform Administration & Support

  • Manage roles, groups, ACLs, and platform permissions.

  • Maintain CMDB integrity and platform performance.
     

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support release management.
     

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer.

  • Experience with ITIL processes, CMDB, and integrations.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow CSA, CAD, ITSM/ITOM/ITAM certifications.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum.
     

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
