Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ITSM Professional Suite, Now Assist, GenAI capabilities, Mobility, and integrations with third-party tools using REST/SOAP web services. The role requires proficiency in Flow Designer, UI Builder, and advanced ServiceNow scripting to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications and modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Implement ITSM Professional features (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Service Catalog).
• Leverage Now Assist and GenAI for automation and AI-driven workflows.
• Develop and maintain mobile experiences using ServiceNow Mobility framework.
• Build and manage integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other protocols.
• Create and optimize workflows using Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
• Develop custom UI components using UI Builder and Service Portal.
• Write and maintain client scripts, server-side scripts, business rules, and script includes.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders for solution design.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–8 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM Professional Suite.
• Experience with Now Assist and GenAI features.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Expertise in Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and UI Builder.
• Experience in Service Portal development and mobile app configuration.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP web services and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CMDB design and maintenance.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow upgrade and patch processes.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence.
• Knowledge of Scoped Applications and Custom App Development.
• Experience of developing and configuring ServiceNow Mobile Applications.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Security (ACLs, roles).
• Exposure to ServiceNow HRSD, CSM, or ITOM modules.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• ServiceNow certifications preferred.
