Role Summary:

This role is part of the Application Integration team, responsible for managing technology supporting the theater environment. The ServiceNow Developer assists with implementing new modules and integrations within the ServiceNow Platform, customizing module functions through UI Actions, business rules, UI Policies, client scripts, and REST/SOAP integrations. The role involves coding and configuring platform features, with a growing emphasis on leveraging AI and automation to drive efficiency and innovation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full ServiceNow implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders, technology teams, and ServiceNow professionals to deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other relevant technologies.
  • Implement workflows, business rules, and automation to streamline processes and improve user experience.
  • Design and implement intelligent workflows using ServiceNow’s Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, and GenAI features to automate routine tasks and enhance user experience.
  • Develop and integrate AI-powered digital agents (chatbots, virtual agents) for automated ticket triage, incident resolution, and knowledge management.
  • Leverage ServiceNow AI Agent Studio to build, test, and deploy agentic AI solutions that can reason, decide, and act on business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements and translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with Technology teams, business stakeholders, and other ServiceNow professionals to align solutions with organizational needs.
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Create and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and solutions; follow best practices and ITIL frameworks.
  • Assist with upgrades, patches, and new releases to ensure platform stability and enhanced functionality.
  • Provide training and support to end users and junior team members as needed.
  • Be available to assist in emergencies.
  • Travel as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management or Department Head.

Education and Skills Required

  • Experience in ServiceNow (Developer, Consultant, or Administrator roles).
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management).
  • Familiarity with multiple ServiceNow modules.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, etc.).
  • Experience developing ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, Web Services).
  • Understanding of ITIL best practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • College or University degree in Management Information Systems or similar discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in software implementation projects.
  • Experience in software development; proficiency in various development environments, data structures, and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US or Canada; no sponsorship provided.

AI & Automation Skills (Required and Preferred)

  • Experience developing and deploying ServiceNow AI/ML solutions (Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, GenAI, AI Search).
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript) and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with AI agent development, including skill configuration, orchestration, and workflow automation.
  • Understanding of data modeling, machine learning concepts, and natural language processing as applied to ServiceNow.
  • Experience integrating external AI/ML models, APIs, and automation platforms with ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow’s Agentic AI, GenAI, and Now Assist features for advanced automation and decision intelligence.
  • Familiarity with automated testing, quality assurance, and performance optimization for AI-driven workflows.
  • ServiceNow certifications in AI/ML, Implementation Specialist, or Technical Consultant (preferred).
