Wat ga je doen?
Als Service Technician zorg je ervoor dat alle activiteiten tijdens jouw dienst veilig, efficiënt en met minimale impact op de dagelijkse operatie van Foot Locker worden uitgevoerd. Je werkt aan mechanische, elektrische, elektromechanische en besturingstechnische taken en neemt technische beslissingen waar nodig.
Je werkt in een 2‑ploegensysteem, aangevuld met piekweken. Tijdens jouw dienst ben je het eerste aanspreekpunt voor technische issues en werk je nauw samen met zowel je team als de klant. Je werkzaamheden bestaan uit installatie, troubleshooting, modificaties en onderhoud aan de material handling‑systemen van Vanderlande. Veiligheid, teamwork en continu verbeteren staan centraal in jouw functie.
Je standplaats is Foot Locker in Haps, waar je volledig deel uitmaakt van het on‑site team.

Verantwoordelijkheden
Als Service Technician werk je binnen het volledig gemechaniseerde warehouse van Foot Locker. Je speelt een essentiële rol in het waarborgen van een ongestoord logistiek proces.
Samen met je collega’s zorg je ervoor dat de installaties in optimale staat blijven door preventief en periodiek onderhoud. Daarnaast los je onverwachte storingen aan het Vanderlande‑systeem op om de operatie draaiende te houden.
Je bent daarnaast verantwoordelijk voor:
Zorgen dat installaties in goede technische staat blijven
Meldingen vanuit de Control Room opvolgen en storingen analyseren
Oplossen van mechanische, elektromechanische en besturingstechnische storingen
Uitvoeren van preventief en correctief onderhoud
Initiëren en doorvoeren van systeem‑ en procesverbeteringen
Ondersteunen van operators en Control Room medewerkers
Bijhouden van administratie in CMMS (DOS Maximo)
Fungeren als verbindingsschakel tussen het site‑team en kantoorcollega’s van Vanderlande
Wat vragen wij van jou?
MBO‑4 diploma in Elektrotechniek, Werktuigbouwkunde, Besturingstechniek, Industriële Automatisering of Mechatronica
Ervaring met mechanisch en/of elektrisch onderhoud
Ervaring in het analyseren en oplossen van systeemstoringen
Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en/of Engelse taal
Affiniteit met besturingen/PLC‑systemen
Proactieve, nauwkeurige en zelfstandige werkhouding
Flexibiliteit en bereidheid om trainingen en cursussen te volgen

Als Service Technician sta je dicht op de operatie en ben je verantwoordelijk voor het draaiende houden van de systemen — van preventief onderhoud tot troubleshooting. Je werkt direct samen met de klant en draagt bij aan maximale uptime. What will you be doing?
As a Service Technician, you ensure that all activities during your shift are carried out safely, efficiently, and with minimal impact on Foot Locker’s daily operations. You work on mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and control-related tasks, and you take responsibility for making technical decisions when necessary.
You work in a 2‑shift system, supported by peak‑season shifts. During your shift, you act as the first point of contact for technical issues and work closely with both your team and the customer. Your scope includes installation, troubleshooting, modification, and maintenance of Vanderlande’s material handling systems. Safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are key elements of your role.

You will work according to the following shift structure:

Responsibilities
As a Service Technician, you work within Foot Locker’s fully mechanized warehouse. Your role is essential in ensuring that the logistics process continues without interruption.
Together with your colleagues, you ensure that installations remain in optimal condition through preventive and periodic maintenance. You also respond to unexpected malfunctions within the Vanderlande system to keep the operation running smoothly.
You will also be responsible for:
Ensuring installations remain in good working condition
Following up on calls from the Control Room to identify malfunctions
Solving mechanical, electromechanical, and control-related issues
Performing both preventive and corrective maintenance
Initiating and implementing improvements to systems and processes
Supporting customer operators and control room staff
Keeping work administration up to date in CMMS (DOS Maximo)
Acting as a bridge between the site team and Vanderlande office staff
What do we ask from you?
MBO 4 education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls/Automation, Industrial Automation, or Mechatronics
Experience with mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
Experience in diagnosing and resolving system errors
Good command of English and/or Dutch
Affinity with controls/PLC systems
Proactive, accurate, and independent working style
Flexible mindset and willingness to grow by attending training and courses
