The Elder Ford of Tampa Service Department has an immediate opening for a Class B Service Technician. Our B Techs play a key role in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles swiftly, accurately, and with the highest level of craftsmanship. What Will I Be Doing?

• Perform repairs and maintenance with efficiency and accuracy, following Lithia & Driveway and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose cause of malfunctions and recommend appropriate repairs
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality of work
• Document work performed and repair procedures clearly and accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle tools responsibly
• Complete required trainings and maintain manufacturer/ASE certifications
• Collaborate with service staff to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
   

What Do I Need to Succeed?

• 3–5 years of automotive repair experience
• Manufacturer training completed (or ability to complete upon hire)
• 3+ ASE Certifications preferred (ASE Master highly encouraged)
• Competency diagnosing and repairing:
• Lube & Maintenance
• Engine Repair
• Suspension/Steering
• Brakes
• Electrical Systems
• Heating & A/C
• Drivability (preferred but not required)
• Strong attention to detail, urgency, and communication
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including manual transmission
