Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes for a large global business unit. The role enhances current business processes and performance metrics by leading regional and global business unit planning teams, and identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes. The role contributes to special projects and communicates requirements to the global business unit planning teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end service parts demand planning across the full-service lifecycle, applying appropriate quantitative forecasting methods by part behavior, lifecycle stage, and variability.
  • Analyze large historical datasets to identify demand patterns, structural shifts, and root causes, translating insights into actionable forecast, stocking, and lifecycle decisions.
  • Lead forecast accuracy and bias analysis, identify systemic root causes, and implement corrective actions that measurably improve forecast performance and customer fill rate.
  • Define and optimize multi‑echelon inventory policies across a complex service network to balance customer experience, availability, and total inventory cost.
  • Evaluate current and forward‑looking inventory positions, taking decisive action to mitigate shortages, excess, and obsolescence risk.
  • Apply multi‑echelon inventory optimization principles to drive data‑backed inventory decisions across DCs, RDCs, and forward stocking locations.
  • Monitor and manage Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) trends, developing mitigation strategies and driving execution to reduce financial exposure.
  • Optimize sourcing and repair strategies, balancing repair, reuse, and new buy decisions to improve inventory health and cost efficiency.
  • Manage network replenishment, backlog, and material balancing, identifying root causes and executing corrective actions to prevent service or inventory risks.
  • Lead planning activities for key lifecycle events, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and Last Time Buy (LTB), in close collaboration with PLM, Procurement and other regions
  • Monitor key performance metrics, develop relevant reporting, and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders, driving actions to meet or exceed service, cost, and inventory goals.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in supply chain or math - related subject or Engineering
  • 4 - 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning or other roles with strong analytical aspects are critical advantages
  • Fluency in English language
