Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated College Intern to support strategic projects focused on the evaluation of third-party service support models, third-party vendor equipment, and related consumables. This role will support data-driven analysis, market research, and business recommendations that inform service strategy, vendor partnerships, and commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on third-party service providers, vendor-supplied equipment, and consumable offerings
  • Evaluate cost, service support, and competitive positioning of third-party service solutions
  • Benchmark third-party solutions by Global Region
  • Support decisions with at risk vs. outsource service strategy evaluations
  • Create clear deliverables including Excel models, PowerPoint presentations, and written summaries
  • Translate research findings into practical business insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including service, supply chain, operations, and Service Growth Team. 

Deliverables & Outcomes

  • Structured analysis of selected third-party service providers and vendor offerings
  • Comparative cost and capability assessments
  • Summary of risks, opportunities, and commercial implications
  • Executive-ready recommendations supporting service strategy decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or similar analytical discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (analysis, formulas, basic modeling)
  • Ability to synthesize research into concise insights and recommendations
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with market research, financial analysis, or competitive analysis
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint or similar presentation tools
  • Interest in service strategy, marketing, operations, technology, or healthcare / med-tech industries

Learning Opportunities
