Your opportunity:
Join our Application Services team as a Service Specialist, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality IT services for critical business applications. This position offers the opportunity to actively contribute to the implementation of a new application and service project during 2026–2027, while also supporting existing applications.
Who you will work with:
You will collaborate closely with Service Managers, Specialists, other IT roles, and external vendors to ensure excellent IT service delivery. Working in partnership with our business stakeholders—who we consider our customers—you will develop a strong understanding of their needs and processes.
What you will do:
Develop a deep understanding of application functionality and business use.
Engage with business end-users to capture and clarify functional requirements.
Contribute to a major implementation project (2026–2027), supporting configuration and ensuring alignment with integrations and infrastructure dependencies.
Monitor and support incident and problem management processes, primarily handled by vendors.
Create and maintain documentation and knowledge of articles as needed.
Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and other project stakeholders.
What you bring:
Technical expertise as a specialist or advanced end-user.
Proven background in IT service delivery and customer support, with a strong commitment to service excellence.
Hands-on experience with IT applications (On-prem and SaaS) supporting financial and logistics processes.
Experience implementing and operating CTRM systems (Commodity Trade Risk Management).
Relevant academic background in Software Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify improvement opportunities.
Experience in the metals or industrial sectors.
Knowledge of ordering and managing supporting infrastructure for applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Location: Boliden or the Stockholm office
