The opportunity

Join our Local Service Center Switzerland for a dynamic position that blends project management with hands-on field responsibilities. In this role, you will oversee power transformer service projects from start to finish, ensuring all tools, equipment, and calibration procedures are meticulously prepared for safe and efficient onsite operations. By joining our team, you will contribute directly to the stability of Switzerland’s electrical grid and have the opportunity to collaborate with key players in the Swiss energy market.

Please submit your documents in English.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional transformer service projects end‑to‑end, onsite execution, and close‑out, with full ownership of schedule, cost, quality, resources, and risks

  • Ensure availability, compliance, and reliability of tools, instruments, and testing equipment, including maintenance, calibration, certification, and readiness for transformer service operations

  • Manage and optimize tooling and equipment logistics, covering inventory control, storage, replenishment, shipment, project‑specific material preparation, and resource sharing across projects

  • Support field teams with complete job packs, including technical documentation, procedures, safety requirements, and onsite coordination when required

  • Act as the primary interface between customers, field service teams, workshops, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear, proactive, and satisfaction‑oriented communication throughout the project lifecycle

  • Plan, schedule, and supervise service activities, ensuring full job readiness prior to site mobilization, including technical scope, documentation, permits, access, logistics, and HSE prerequisites

  • Prepare and coordinate onsite activities, guarantee safe, smooth, and efficient execution, and providing hands‑on operational support during critical or complex situations

  • Identify, escalate, and resolve project and operational risks, ensuring strict compliance with HSE rules, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization, enhancing tooling management, site preparation processes, and overall service execution efficiency

Your background

  • Degree in engineering, technical management, or a related field

  • 3+ years of project management or field service coordination experience

  • Handson mindset and strong interest in tools, calibration, safety, and technical preparation

  • Solid organizational and communication skills

  • Experience with quality standards (e.g., ISO)

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks end-to-end

  • Business fluent in French and fluent English; German is a plus
