About the Role
As Service Product Manager, you’ll ensure our spare parts, service kits, and service tools are always well defined, available to order, easy for partners to find and priced appropriately leveraging your ERP expertise, technical knowledge and commercial understanding to ensure the right portfolio is set and delivering commercial impact. You’ll collaborate with Product Management, Sales Companies, Distribution Centers, R&D and Partners, and join a supportive team of 6 with 3 other Service Product Managers specializing in Centrifugal Pumps, Positive Displacement Pumps, and Tank Equipment. Your ERP skills will help us deliver efficient, high-quality service solutions to customers worldwide.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Define the portfolio to be offered as spare parts or service kits for legacy, active, and new products.
Ensure all spare parts and service kits are correctly created and set up in ERP systems (D365, Teamcenter, GIM, MoveX, etc.).
Ensure spare part catalogues are updated and ensure service kits are searchable by serial number for our partners.
Set global list prices (PPL) for sales companies and manage/expand price models in Vendavo PricePoint.
Provide third-level support for service-related issues (creation, data, price, etc.) via Service Now tickets.
Monitor profitability and volume development for service products.
Manage the phase-out of spare parts for legacy products entering end-of-life.
Participate in new product development projects for the Valve Portfolio.
Support projects in collaboration with R&D and Product Management.
Take commercial ownership from the spare part & kit perspective by driving potential business development opportunities
At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is at our Kolding office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 0 – 10 days per year.
What you know:
Bachelor’s degree or similar as a minimum requirement. The educational direction is flexible, candidates may have backgrounds in business with technical experience from previous roles, engineering, or related fields.
Experience in product or service management, or related functional areas—ideally within industrial equipment or similar fields.
Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency and hands on experience in working with ERP systems and handling product data, such as bill of materials, item masters, and product structures.
Hands-on experience with ERP platforms like D365, Teamcenter, GIM, MoveX, or similar.
Ability to balance daily operational tasks (e.g., support tickets) with driving improvement projects to address root causes or create commercial impact.
Fluency in English and preferably Danish, both written and spoken.
