Essential Responsibilities
Provide wing to wing leadership for the creation, development and commercial activation of customer-facing service products and corresponding offerings related to MR and Women’s Health products and related digital solutions and products to increase GE HealthCare service contract capture rate/market share, and enable accelerated growth in targeted region, customer segment or commercial channel.
Deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, using marketing and commercial inputs to drive programs focused on Offering Price, Share and Mix within the MR and Women’s Health portfolio.
Understand how to utilize the tools used to obtain financial, margin and performance data for MR and Women’s Health Service, then use this data to clearly articulate it to various audiences.
Act on financial and performance metrics when trending negatively. Understanding why a metric is trending negatively, then take corrective action and monitor progress.
Serve as Expert Resource for MR and Women’s Health Service for Service Sales and MR and Women’s Health Commercial teams.
Partner with Commercial team, using Service incentives and/or existing installed base, to increase system sales. Balance the needs of the Commercial and Service teams with a franchise mindset.
Assist in training. This includes, but is not limited to, new hire (Service Sales) training, and training on topical issues, such as New Service Introductions.
Clear Communication, which includes sending formal communications memos to Service Sales and other relevant audiences when important information needs to be shared.
Drive and prioritize new service introduction and improvement requirements from global product, digital and engineering teams, region customers and commercial teams based on customer value, industry trend, competitive landscape, growth dynamics, speed to market, technical roadmap and return on investment. Collaborate with Marketing to drive effective value proposition and Key Opinion Leader development per market and segment needs by working with marketing teams.
Work with global product and global service teams on understanding new Digital Solutions suitable for the USCAN market based on customer needs and market opportunity, then independently develop a go-to-market strategy, considering commercial initiatives such as channel, commercial training, quoting and revenue recognition.
Work with Marketing to conduct market research to discover customers’ unmet needs and commercial opportunities. Utilize understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
Manage the investment plan for MR and Women’s Health Service Portfolio for USCAN Service and participate in long-term strategy planning and Budget processes with the USCAN Equipment and Global Service teams. Own and drive investment decisions on features in offerings as well as new stand-alone offerings. Determine which offerings need dedicated Sales resources versus other commercial selling models.
Drive effective roadmaps and commercial activation strategies to maximize resource utilization and growth outcome by identifying region best practices, integrating various customer-facing service products and offerings in region, working with region commercial/operation leaders, driving data visibility, digital platform/tool scalability, digital ecosystem level 1-4 support sustainability and process standardization. Understand the Service sales channel strategy and work with enterprise sales teams.
Drive effective communication and activation plans with USCAN Marketing, Commercial Excellence, and Commercial Leadership teams. Work closely with the Training teams to ensure appropriate curriculum is in place for the commercial teams selling products and solutions across various channels.
Lead creative customer solution development and communicate complex messages. Negotiate and drive final decisions with internal stakeholders across functions with others to adopt a different point of view based on business performance data and objective outcomes. Influence and negotiate with peers, product teams, support functions as well as field commercial and delivery teams.
Autonomously interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve service offerings.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field, 8+ years’ experience in marketing, product management or related field Experience in a customer facing role (Service, Sales or Applications).
Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing.
Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong analytical and process skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead commercial programs / projects.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

Desired Characteristics
MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field 10+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
Experience leading and developing teams
Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding
Healthcare product/industry acumen
Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
Established project management skills.

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
