Flynn Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Service Glazing Superintendent to join our Halifax branch. This role plays a critical leadership function within our Service division, overseeing glazing crews, coordinating daily service operations, and ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient delivery of work.
A Day in the Life

Preparing, organizing, and reviewing service jobs, ensuring required materials and information are ready before work begins

Dispatching glazing crews and service technicians, providing clear job direction and priorities

Reviewing job scopes, drawings, and layouts to support foremen and crews in the field

Ordering materials and managing service inventory to support daily operations

Conducting site visits to monitor quality, safety, and workmanship standards

Providing hands-on support and problem-solving assistance to foremen and crews

Maintaining communication with customers during active service work when required

Promote and enforce safe work practices and working-at-heights requirements

Maintain flexibility to support emergency service calls as needed

Assist with training and development of future foremen and leaders
This role supports approximately three service crews and requires a balance of office coordination and time spent in the field.

Work Schedule & Location
- Monday to Friday
- Typical working hours range from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexibility required for occasional evenings, weekends, and service-related calls
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of glazing experience
- Previous leadership experience (Foreman, Supervisor, or Superintendent level)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Comfortable working at heights and in active construction environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

Solid organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
Assets / Nice to Have

Red Seal Glazier certification

Superintendent or senior supervisory experience

Ability to effectively use mobile apps and internal service software (training provided)
