What will you be doing?

Your job as a Service Desk Engineer working for the first line SD_EU-APAC is a challenging one, as you will play a pivotal role balancing the needs of customers, technical specialists and the responsible contract manager. Your prime responsibility in this job involves registering issues, be it Incidents, Service Requests, Problems or Changes. You take charge in complex problem-solving sessions, where you will play a facilitating role between technical experts & business stakeholders.  

Your communication skills are vitally important. You ensure that your calls are dealt with correctly; you set priorities and decide whether follow-up actions are needed (such as additional maintenance) and initiate such actions. 

While working this dynamic customer environment, you will also be looking for process improvement opportunities, where you can implement lessons learned directly from the business.

Requirements

  • A completed course of study in which you were able to demonstrate that your intellectual ability is that of an average graduate

  • Affinity and/or work experience with Vanderlande’s business 

  • You have a “Customer First” mindset, in which your communication skills and proactive attitude make the difference 

  • You take end-to-end responsibility for the Service Desk process and, in so doing, you focus strongly on results 

  • You are a sharp, analytical thinker  

  • You are familiar with ITIL methods 

  • You have a good mastery of Polish and English
