Cloud Services Operations (CSO) Manager is responsible for Managing a team of technology experts responsible for DAY 2 operations and also engage with BU / engineering for PCE and upcoming cloud offerings. KPI for the team is to ensure that the availability, reliability, and performance of cloud services is always maintained within the agreed SLAs. Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of cloud applications and infrastructure. Key responsibilities may include configuring cloud resources, managing security and access controls, and troubleshooting issues with cloud services. They may also be responsible for developing, implementing, and testing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud services.

    What you'll do:

    Key responsibility may include.

    • Leading a team of highly skilled technical resources managing ECaaS solutions. (Edge PCE/Edge compute as a Service) Identifying customer needs and overseeing service delivery within the business context.
    • Leading the service delivery teams, managing conflict, and ensuring the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently. Managing finances and budgets.
    • Determining ways to reduce costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction. Assessing customer feedback and using your creativity to establish, improve, and refine services.
    • Remaining organized and meeting deadlines. Building partnerships and liaising with Remote ITOC delivery, A&PS, Sales, and Pursuit to determine the company's Services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise.
    • Partnering with BU and other internal HPE teams to seamlessly delivering CSP/PCE service to HPE customers. Actively participate / contribute to HPE MS initiatives. Meet / Exceed operational metric goals and TCE/NPS.
    • Drive automation and Process maturity. Collaborate with Business, Security, Architect, and various Cloud teams to develop tools, solutions, automation, and patterns to solve problems and drive value.
    • Work closely with DevOps /Operations, Sec ops Cloud Architect teams to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
    • Apply automated deployment tool sets and infrastructure including environments and code management using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.

    What you need to bring:

    Eligibility & Qualification:

    • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience in cloud operations, including experience with cloud infrastructure automation, deployment, management, performance testing and tuning.
    • Excellent Understanding of User and Identity Management, Application security concepts, Fleet management concepts and multi-cloud concepts
    • Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of cloud computing technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure components, such as virtual machines, block/object storage, networking, and security. Vmware VSAN solution knowledge and prior experience.
    • Scripting and Automation: Familiar with scripting and automation tools, such as Python, Bash, or Terraform, to automate repetitive tasks and improve infrastructure efficiency.
    • Compliance: Knowledge of and experience with industry standards and best practices for cloud infrastructure, including security, compliance, and data privacy regulations.
    • Service Management Experience: Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, such as ITIL, and experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
    • Experience – Prior experience working in engineering teams is added advantage.
