Role description: To ensure the maximum availability of equipment, including the maintenance and servicing of equipment in line with Aggreko’s procedures.

Detailed description: Your Technical expertise will help in maximizing the fleet availability either in depot or on field helping us to improve our customer service. You will be actively involved in day-to-day site activities but not limited to, electrical troubleshooting, Installation & commissioning and other site activities as per the requirement. You will be based in the Jeddah. You will be accountable for compliance to Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures and compliance to local legislation and reporting to the Yard Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out basic maintenance as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards

  • Carryout Yard Repairs and support other techs in the yard.

  • Ensure that the workplace is well maintained and clean

  • Maintain documentation either paper or electronic as per site specifics

  • Adhere to QHSE standards

  • Working strictly in accordance with company policies and procedures

  • Any other duties are considered essential for effective operations and service as requested.

  • Positions holders are typically field based focusing on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation. Activities include:

  • Coordinating and undertaking a range of maintenance activities within defined operating procedures

  • Conducting safety inspections and complying with Aggreko's safety regulation

  • Providing first level technical advice to customers

  • May resolve/troubleshoot implementation problems

Accountability Level:


  • Experienced operations/technical/support Jobs. Requires knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

  • Self-sufficient within a limited range of work activities, which are mostly routine in nature and have a high degree of predictability.  

  • can independently make straightforward decisions.  Work done under guidance.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced reactive environment- ideally within a outdoor working environment

  • Forklift experience is highly desirable

  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own work

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team

  • Self-driven with strong communication and people skills

    Location: Jeddah

    What we’re looking for

     Perform routine mechanical servicing activities and general equipment maintenance in line with operating procedures and work instructions including A & B service, greencarding / post contract assessment & pre-delivery inspection, basic engine fault finding / repair and basic total preventative maintenance.

    Strong communication skills with ability to work in teams & also on own initiatives – Must be able to complete report legibly.

    Ability to travel as & when required including both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain.

     Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business

    Commitment & accountability for compliance to Aggreko Health Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures and compliance to local legislation including internal & external audits.

    Any other duties considered related essential for effective operations and service as requested.
