As a Service Coordinator, you’ll be the central hub of our service operations—ensuring that every repair job runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll coordinate work orders, manage documentation, support technicians and planners, and keep customers informed every step of the way.

Job Description:

  • Working knowledge of Finning and CAT applications M3, SWIP Tool, SRT, CRT, Parts Viz, SIS 2.0, CAT Inspect, SIMSi, Salesforce and PSET
  • Manage multi-facility SWIP for Heavy Welding and Track Frame rebuilds sent to 3rd party facilities
  • Act as the central point of contact between external facility PM’s and Finning MSR's
  • Action service requests, create MCO/WO’s, submit RFQ to supplier (providing PO’s and work scope)
  • Create Finning customer quotes based on subcon items and parts lists
  • Submit parts order requests, monitor backorders, coordinate returns of cores and new/unused parts
  • Smartsheet project tracking and weekly update meetings with supplier and Finning stakeholders
  • Assist with transport coordination for completed rebuilds
  • Perform invoicing of completed projects following customer specific approval processes
  • Perform PO functions, opening, releasing, and completing goods receipts
  • Submit ISS requests to create Finning part numbers for supplier products
  • Manage Finning OEM work orders for fabricated products
  • Submit SG&A forms, warranty claims, and apply relevant support programs

Qualifications:

  • Secondary education with a focus on administrative management, business, or accounting/finance.
  • 2–4 years in dealership, project coordination, or service roles within construction, oilfield, forestry, marine, or similar industries.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and service-related software.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, parts, or repair processes.
  • Understanding of Finning’s warranty process, service billing, and Customer Service Commitment.
  • Knowledge of project management principles related to scope, schedule, budget, and risk.

Additional Job Description

This candidate will be working with the Raptor group, supporting the service administration of mining projects (e.g. large outages & assemblies), and some other responsibilities as needed.
