We are seeking a proactive, resourceful, and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our UK & Ireland team. This role goes far beyond basic administration—you’ll be at the heart of our turbocharger service operations, playing a pivotal role in shaping customer experiences and driving business success.
Your Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the service process. Build strong, sustainable relationships and ensure their needs are met with professionalism and urgency.
- Service Job Coordination: Plan, schedule, and oversee turbocharger service jobs in the marine and power generation industry. Ensuring optimal allocation of resources (service engineers, spare parts, tools) and adherence to timelines.
- Contract & Process Management: Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled, from quotation to invoicing and cash collection. Manage claims, changes, and quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to harmonize service activities, maximize sales opportunities, and drive improvements in our offerings.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records in our ERP/CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
- Problem-Solving: Tackle challenges creatively and commercially, adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your Background
- Higher education in a technical, engineering, or commercial field (degree preferred).
- Experience in service coordination, project management, or technical customer service—ideally in the maritime, power generation, or industrial sectors.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
- A customer-centric mindset, commercial awareness, and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic situations, including occasional travel or extended hours.
