The Role

As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end procurement process for IT assets and related services. You will ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations while supporting the full lifecycle of asset management—from requisition and acquisition to inventory control, device staging, and retirement.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and asset management teams to optimise procurement efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality. Key Responsibilities
Asset Procurement & Administration
Create and submit requisitions for IT assets and services within the company’s procurement system (AMS), ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage purchase orders from approved suppliers, maintaining compliance with contract terms and company standards.
Coordinate with internal teams to forecast asset needs and support planning cycles (3, 6, and 12 months).
Track and report on procurement activities, including order status, delivery timelines, and cost savings.
Supplier & Contract Management
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with company requirements.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve issues related to product quality, delivery, and invoicing.
Review and comply with all terms and conditions of asset-related agreements, including warranties and support coverage.
Administer contract documentation and ensure records are up-to-date and accessible for audits and compliance reviews.
Inventory & Asset Management
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate asset tagging, and ensure accurate tracking of devices throughout their lifecycle.
Implement asset tagging procedures, manage asset flow, and synchronize acquisition requests with available inventory.
Support device staging, delivery, and refresh activities, ensuring compliance with security and configuration standards.
Oversee the retirement and disposal of assets, ensuring documentation and compliance with environmental and company policies.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Prepare and maintain procurement records, generate reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and performance metrics.
Support audits and provide documentation for asset management services as required.
Who You Are
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities.
Skilled in negotiation and vendor management, with a focus on cost optimization and quality assurance.
Comfortable working with procurement systems and familiar with asset lifecycle processes.
A proactive communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Who You Are
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or asset management roles.
Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle and procurement best practices.
Proficiency in procurement systems (AMS or similar) and reporting tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Candidates must have a valid security clearance (L1/L2/L3) or previous CGP clearance.
Applicants in Quebec must be bilingual (French/English).

Location Requirement:
This role requires on-site presence at one of the following locations in Quebec: Longueuil, Saint-Hubert, Mirabel
This position requires the employee to work on a regular basis with Kyndryl stakeholders located in other Canadian provinces, the United States, or internationally where English is the common language, making knowledge of the English language a requirement for this position in addition to fluency in French.
