Position Summary

This role leads annual vendor negotiations for Fab operations and related support functions, optimizing scope, driving cost‑savings, and elevating performance. The manager analyzes market and equipment trends to set optimal pricing, partners with key stakeholders—including Fab Engineering, Innovation, Samsung HQ Procurement, Finance, and Legal—to craft appropriate contract types and service‑level agreements, and ensures all agreements meet business goals, risk‑management, and compliance requirements.

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Work within the Service Contracts team to manage vendor service contract negotiations for the Fab, as well as departments in direct support of the Fab.
  • Effectively manage annual service contract negotiations to include scope optimization, cost savings initiatives, and performance management. 

  • Analyze the optimal price by analyzing the supply and demand trend, and equipment trend in the supply market.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including but not limited to Fab Engineering, Innovation, and Samsung HQ Procurement) to ensure needs of the customer are included in all service contract scope negotiations.

  • Participate in setting strategy and achieving business goals in annual service contract agreement negotiations, to include selection of appropriate contract type, appropriate service level coverage, and service quality improvement.

  • Experience working with Finance and Legal teams to meet established service contract goals, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years in service contract negotiations, specifically sole source.

  • 4+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management -Semiconductor experience a plus

  • CPM, CPSM or CPIM certification a plus - Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP system preferred.

  • Detail oriented, data driven; ability to analyze and interpret data with an eye towards results and process/system improvement. 

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and time management skills. 

  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

The current base salary range for this role is between $69,070 - $127,770. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
