The Role
As a Service Asset & Configuration Analyst at Kyndryl, you’ll focus on maintaining and updating service‑related assets and configuration items (CIs) to support accurate service visibility and operational consistency. In this role, you support Asset Management and Service Configuration Management activities by reviewing Incidents, Changes, and Problems to ensure configuration data is complete, accurate, and up to date.
You work closely with ITSM operational processes and tools, performing hands‑on updates, validations, and follow‑ups in accordance with established standards and procedures. Your contributions help strengthen data quality within the CMDB and ensure reliable information is available for service operations and decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Review Incidents, Changes, and Problems to identify required service‑related asset and CI updates.
Update assets and configuration items following defined Asset and Configuration Management standards.
Validate completeness and accuracy of CI attributes, including status, ownership, and relationships.
Support CMDB reconciliation and data quality activities.
Identify and escalate inconsistencies, missing data, or quality issues affecting service visibility.

Who You Are
You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. Equally important, you demonstrate attention to detail, consistency in execution, and willingness to learn ITSM processes and tools while supporting operational data quality.
Required Skills and Experience
1+ years of experience in IT operations or IT service support roles.
Basic to intermediate understanding of ITIL® 4 concepts, including: Asset Management, Service Configuration Management, Incident, Change, and Problem Management (interaction level)
Experience using ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred) as an operational user, including Incident, Change, Problem, and CMDB modules.
Ability to review operational records and identify required updates to service‑related assets and CIs.
Strong attention to detail and data quality focus.
Ability to follow established procedures, policies, and standards.
Basic analytical and documentation skills.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, required for technical documentation and communication with global teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
ITIL® 4 Foundation certification.
Experience working with CMDB views and CI relationship visualizations.
Experience supporting data quality or reconciliation activities within ITSM environments
