About the Role
The Server at the Match Room delivers an exceptional dining experience by engaging warmly with guests, sharing menu knowledge, and ensuring seamless food and beverage service in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
What You Will Do
Provide friendly, engaging, and intuitive service while guiding guests through the food and beverage menu using vivid descriptions of preparation, flavors, and origins
Accurately take and enter guest orders using the point‑of‑sale system, including dietary needs and special requests, and coordinate timing with the kitchen
Deliver orders promptly and correctly to maintain food quality and enhance the overall guest experience
Anticipate guest needs, check for satisfaction throughout the dining experience, and resolve concerns with urgency and professionalism
Operate efficiently in a high‑volume, fast‑paced service environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
Prepare, present, and close guest checks accurately, including processing cash and credit card payments
Support daily operational needs including table setup, breakdown, cleaning, and maintaining service areas
Work collaboratively and respectfully with team members and leaders while adhering to Four Seasons standards and work rules
What You Bring
Minimum of one year of food service experience, required, with proven experience in a high‑volume and fast‑paced environment
A friendly, approachable, and guest‑focused demeanor with a passion for hospitality
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a dynamic service setting
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with guests and team members
Comfort processing cash and credit card transactions accurately
Schedule & Hours
This position is a temporary, seasonal assignment running from June 11 through July 19
Open availability required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Scheduled up to approximately forty (40) hours per week based on business needs
