SEO Specialist

The Search team at dentsu is looking for a new SEO Specialist. We work for (inter)national clients such as KLM, BSH, and Danone, and our goal is to achieve the best results together with them by setting up a top-notch SEO strategy and execution.

We are looking for someone who has already gained experience in the world of SEO has affinity with recent developments around AI search and now wants to take it to the next level by becoming part of an ambitious and driven team of specialists.
 

The role of SEO Specialist at dentsu 
Your primary focus is to strengthen the organic visibility and performance of our clients. As a SEO specialist in our team, you will either collaborate within a multidisciplinary team under the guidance of a Senior or Director, or take end‑to‑end ownership of a client yourself. In both cases, you coordinate the right SEO activities, ensure high‑quality execution, and guide juniors in delivering impactful work.

Beyond client delivery, we encourage active contribution to knowledge sharing and product development, helping us continuously improve our SEO and AI Search practice as a department. 
 

What will you be doing? 

• Setting up and executing SEO strategies; 

• Identifying needs and optimization opportunities for clients; 

• Preparing and delivering client presentations; 

• Guiding the implementation of optimizations (with development or content teams); 

• Delegating tasks and guiding junior team members; 

• Measuring and analyzing results based on proposed activities; 

• Assisting with internal innovative projects and products; 

• Sharing knowledge internally and externally; 

• Working directly with the client, either at their office or at dentsu. 
   

Who are you? 

• You have a passion for SEO; 

• You are interested in the developments around AI search; 

• You are proactive and take responsibility; 

• You are good at problem-solving and have strong analytical skills; 

• You have persuasion skills and can articulate ideas well; 

• You are communicative in English and preferably in Dutch; 

• You are a strong project manager and have control over your time allocation; 

• You are curious, eager to learn, and ambitious; 

• You have successfully completed a HBO or WO education; 

• You have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
