Summer 2026 Work Term

The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.

The Media Specialist, Search Engine Marketing is a Paid Search subject matter expert on the Digital Acquisition team, combining exceptional knowledge of Paid Search strategy, an inquisitive and analytical mindset and a passion for data driven marketing to accelerate the growth of PC Financial products (PC Money Account, PC Insiders World Elite Mastercard, PC Mastercard No Fee products).

What you’ll do:

On-Site SEO 

  • Conduct keyword research to identify new search demand  
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing on the public site content strategy. Provide key insights and recommendations to strengthen on-site content 
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the Digital Acquisition team on SEO experiments to increase conversion of applications and actives through the Organic Search channel 
  • Create detailed content briefs for the Brand Marketing team for new on-site content development  

Technical SEO 

  • Undertake in-depth Technical SEO Audits 
  • Conduct website crawl analysis to identify any areas of opportunity 
  • Build and prioritize SEO backlog. Work collaborative with Product/Digital teams on implementing SEO initiatives 
  • Review site architecture with Digital Platform teams, including URL structure’s, meta data, header tags, image name, headers and make recommendations to improve SEO crawl metrics. 

SEO Reporting 

  • Analyzing data from sources like, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics to make data-driven decisions  
  • Work closely with analysts to build SEO dashboards and self-serve reporting  
  • Prepare and present SEO performance on a regular cadence. Key KPI’s and insights include increase in organic search traffic, keyword insights, product applications and activations driven by organic search 

What you bring:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field (Business, Marketing, Advertising).
  • An analytical thinker with an ability to effectively turn reporting and analysis into. actionable insights and execution plans.
  • Ability to develop a POV and implications based on data, and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and positive attitude with passion for questioning assumptions and answering questions with data, to unlock value for the bank.
  • Amazing work ethic, self-directed, proactive, and able to define and execute projects independently.
  • Strong in Excel and reporting automation / experience using Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio or equivalent).
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Google Ads Certified.
  • Possess a passion for the paid search ecosystem and a deep knowledge of its available tools, including auction insights & search trends.
