SEO Executive (French Speaking)

Detailed Description

As a SEO Executive at JD you will work with the existing team to maximise organic search performance by optimising content on French language sites, ensuring that the sites meet technical best practice and implementing a forward looking strategy.  

Your role will be to maximise profitable traffic from the Organic Search channel across the JD Sports FR  websites within JD Sports Fashion Group PLC. Working with the JD Multichannel Managers and SEO team, you’ll be responsible for delivering
against traffic & revenue targets, with the aim to improve the efficiency from the channel.

• Working hours – 39 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimise on-site content &ensuring it is accessible to search engines
• Develop strong relationships with fascia & channel managers to ensure SEO is front of mind
• Work with our Group Technical SEO Manager to implement best practice technical changes
• Work with our content marketing team to develop off-page campaigns
• Work with the JD team to maximise SEO performance for campaigns
• Brief, structure and integrate SEO best practices on the JD blog
• Reporting organic performance to senior stakeholders

Ideal Candidate

•  Native French language speaker (or highly proficient as second language)
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of SEO, with a passion for on-page optimisations and content
• Data-driven and analytical
• Understanding of Google Search Console, Google analytics, SEO tools such as (ahrefs/SEM Rush/SEO Monitor etc), & Screaming Frog. Experience using DeepCrawl, Supermetrics,
• Profound & Location Management software such as Yext/Rio etc is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of AI apps, tools and systems and how that can be leveraged for SEO purposes and to drive traffic
• Excellent communications skills
• Copywriting experience is advantageous
• Good understanding of HTML + CSS
• Passion for SEO, fashion & ecommerce
